KEN MAPLES TESTIMONY              Under lock and key. That’s where Ken Maple’s kept his past. He packed away a life of childhood neglect and abuse because the weight of fear, shame, and disappointment was just too much to carry. It was easier to lock away emotions and creatively avoid the pain. "In an effort to feel validated I became an over-achiever," says Ken. "Unfortunately my approach left me starved for intimacy and love. My efforts were stellar. But, all those good deeds were not going to be the key to unlocking healing and becoming free in Christ."

Today, Ken uses music to bring a refreshing message of freedom to those afraid to unlock the pain of their past. He tenderly teaches that healing is available in spite of innocence lost. "As hurting humans we try to distract ourselves from the things that have inflicted pain," says Ken. "I’ve experienced the power of Psalm 30: 2 -- ‘I called to you and you healed me’. I want those in my audience to know God’s healing is available under any circumstance."

Ken is no stranger to the stage being proficient in guitar, vocals, and communicating with an audience. He blends pop and soft rock sounds, his vulnerable testimony, and a gentle sense of humor into an entertaining and inspiring concert experience.
