When Jesus spoke of truth he said, "seek the truth and the truth will set you free". What our Lord is telling us is that the freedom from doubt, confusion and unknowingness is trusting in his word. The experience of being "born again" is the fruit of the seekers search for truth that culminates in the realization Our Lord Jesus Christ is The Way, The Truth, and The Life. When you ultimately ask the Holy Spirit of God to come into your life and receive the Divine affection, peace of mind comes because you seeked the truth and found it. This is actually your eternal birth date and you will have no doubt or confusion for the rest of this life concerning Jesus the Christ the Eternal Son of God. The answer to that nagging question, "why am I here and what is the meaning or purpose of my life", is answered for you. In fact, Jesus promised us that his spirit would lead us into ALL truth. That is one of the most comforting statements the Lord ever made. Is it not great to know that at some point in time and eternity, you will know the truth about everything? Our precious Lord Jesus is a loving Father, who nurtures all of His children to maturity and fulfillment.  My testimony to you is this. I searched for the truth and found the truth. The answer to the one question that is the most important is this:  Yes, Jesus did tell us the truth when he stated: I am the Way the Truth and the Life. He is not a liar. Being born again puts you on the right path, gives you direct access to the source of truth, and fulfiills your life. Do not have any doubt or confusion and experience peace of mind. Give Jesus a chance !
